sugar high

on my way home from soccer tonight, I happened to notice that they’ve opened a sugar mountain in the glebe, where schad’s used to be located.

Candy for the organic granola bunch, except….not organic and not granola. Must. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

This could spell trouble.

I saw that too, when I stopped for a cup of tea at Morola. right across the street. The kids of the glebe will be happy, the parents of the Glebe will be sorry.

Having never stepped foot in Sugar Mountain (well, maybe once), I am not sure of this, but do they not sell retro-candy there?

If so, how overpriced is it?

Yes – retro candy galore. Even Thrills (ick ick ick).

I think it’s slightly overpriced, but I’m not entirely sure.

I only ever went in for the Jones Juice.

    Thrills.. *shiver*

Ben had never tried them, so I bought him some a while back.

    He *liked* them.

We clearly do not have the same kind of tastebuds.

That’s the gum that tastes like soap, n’est-ce pas?

Retro is all the rage….. and people are willing to spend tons of $$$$$$. I have never understood that, but then again, I am only a Polar Bear, so what do I know?

    Could spell? Will spell.

I spend lots of money buying candy, but that’s because I like fancy imported candy.
