I don’t know *how* this happened, but I got nominated for a Golden Cherry Award!

I’m nominated as one of a number of great “crafters” in the “Best Crafter” category: > Mady Carlea, Stina B. (Christina Ballhorn), Carol Moffat, and Malcolm Zander.

For those of you not in the know (this includes me, for the most part), the Golden Cherry Awards is one of the biggest award shows in town to showcase local talent, with 10 emcees, live voting by the public (scary + volatile….does bribery work?), competing bands and over 200 hot local artists looking for attention.

The awards gala is going to be held at Club SAW on Saturday, July 9, 2005 from 7PM to 2AM. There’s a $10 cover, and a cash bar. And I *know* that is also happens to be the best night of Bluesfest for many of us, but if you’re bored and feel like wandering around the corner for a loud-sound-broken-social-metric-stars-daniel-lanois break, stop by and vote!
