I had no idea that christmas this year would provide me with such a challenge for 2006. Not only do I have to figure out exactly how it works, I’ve got to make it take beautiful pictures….stat!
Of course, all I really want to do is wrap it up in a bubble and stare at it for a little while. It’s so delicate!

Wow. Nice looking camera. A google search tells me that the first Rolleicord camera was made in 1922. I take it this is a more modern version. Is it digital? “DBP means Deutches BundesPatent”.
Good luck with it and be sure and show us the results.
That one looks like a Rolleicord III, made in the early 1950s.
I correct myself. A Rolleicord Va Type 2, made in the late 50s early 60s (1958-1961).

I’m torn between my love for digital and modern, and old fashioned. This one is film, and classic, and in perfect working shape.
I heart film, though at the same time, it terrifies me, with its “having to take good pictures” instead of the usual “point, click, delete” of digital.
