We had these two little munchkins out in the lobby the other day when we were closed. One of our staff had her 55 lb dog out and the kittens were face-to-face with a dog for the first time it seemed. They were hissing and spitting and they had their backs up like the one in the second picture. Her dog was so good, getting as low to the ground as possible, trying not to scare the kitties by being so tall. They eventually relaxed and started following the dog around. I snapped some pictures. If I think of it, I’ll send you one next time I’m at work. Very cute little devils though a little undersocialized. I’m sure you’re going to work your magic and they will be very loveable little critters in no time.
They’re very funny kitties. The little black one *loves* toy mice, and wanders around with one in her mouth growling (at the mouse, or at her sister in a “yo, you can totally not have my mouse”, we’re not sure). The white cat loves things that make noise, and they both get startled really easily. They definitely need some socialization.
They’re awesome and snuggly though – they were up on the bed playing this morning, and sleeping all over us last night. They made themselves right at home.

Oh man Oh man…They are so sweet I can’t even stand it.
We haven’t fostered babies in so long…I miss kittens mewling around my house! Of course, I don’t believe our other kitties miss it.
