Ok, maybe we’re just different up here in good old quiet polite canada, but when browsing Amazon.com today I was completely floored by this:

Pitchfork’s top story today is about one of our favourite bands…the Decemberists.

Perhaps the best line in the article is this:

Colin says: “Even though the advent of digitized music has eroded the place of album art in contemporary pop, we’re spending two days at a theater in Portland doing a photo shoot for the record cover which will involve Chris Funk in a foam tree costume.”

March 22nd cannot come soon enough!
