what’s in *your* fridge?

Jan 19 2007 Published by under shutterbug,yummy

Mihow started a new flickr group last week that I couldn’t refuse to sign up for – Sh*t In My Fridge. Random strangers from all over the web have been posting photos of their fridges, fridge doors, and even freezers – and as a foodie, I’m fascinated. It’s such an unusual glimpse into people’s lives. I’ve been wondering what I’m going to take photos of this year, and this…well….this is going to be one of those things, I think.

Here’s my fridge…what’s in yours?

courtesy of brett, january 1st, brunch at the mayflower.

things to celebrate:

  • my camera obscura tickets arrived!
  • people bought me left-handed things for my birthday. (pinking shears!)
  • feeling creative about work again…this must mean I’m not busy enough yet
  • x-country ski drought? Officially over!
  • Also? I love that the NCC has an ice-o-meter on it’s site. Poor sad not yet ready to skate on canal.

things to bemoan

  • Lucy’s lump.
  • The people who park in my spot and then get all snitty when *I* block them in because there is nowhere else to park. (seriously??)
  • Bye bye colour cue 2. You were (potentially) fun while you lasted!
  • cold apartments!

tower of power

This was the best pre=christmas present ever. Left outside my door by the marvelous fellow who takes care of our apartments, after he discovered it at a previous tenants recently evacuated place, he thought it would be something I could totally appreciate. And was he right! I haven’t braved putting film in it yet, but soon…it’s perfect for sitting on the (soon to be) Winterlude ice and catching skaters going by.

You’ll note what looks like a blurry lucy in the background. This is because she is all.grown.up and thinks that it’s ok to put her elbows on our dining room table too. She is *so* wrong.
