a miracle of scheduling

Mircale: That I can manage to fit in everything I need to get done AND have some sort of life. And a day job!

Sorry it’s been a while. I’m back from my holidays, back to work, and back to craft insanity. Just when I thought I was getting a break, I got accepted to show upon show, the first being Poppytalk Handmade’s November Holiday Table. Check out October’s artists! I am going to be in some insanely talented company.

In order to make it through November AND December without having to resort to selling people rain-cheques, I am getting my craft on. I’ve got a stack of 100 camera straps in the works, along with an equal number of guitar straps, and I’m soon expecting my studio floor to turn into pillow-land. Bike seat covers have been retired for the season, but If you’re still looking, they’ll be posted as part of the shop update that’s coming late this week. That’s right – SHOP UPDATE!

Check back Sunday for photographic evidence of oodles of sewing!

Also, Halifax/Maritime folks, check out my work at the new Love Me Boutique – located in beautiful downtown Halifax at 1539 Birmingham Ave (next to Woozles!). It is a SUPER cute little shop.

Fathers are awesome for teaching you how to blow bubbles, to wield kitchen knives (even in my own freakish left-handed way), and to appreciate the art of photography. At least my father is awesome that way, anyway. Happy birthday, dad.

in lieu of an actual post with say, oh, substance, I’m just going to point you to my flickr stream. This sums up everything fairly nicely. Crafts, crafts, crafts, Beauty’s, and (not pictured) shopping. Hello Montreal.

Puces Pop was great, as were Beauty’s and the shopping. Now I’m off to Halifax for a week to NOT THINK ABOUT WORK – no email, no laptops, no phones – which is the best part of my vacation.

See you soon!
