SO without a name we have actually been calling him no-name. Yeah.
And he is so happy to be here we love it.
Update: Meet Sampson! I call him Sam, for short. He’s scared of the dark, still wets the bed every once in a while, and definitely loves his new honeysuckle mouse.
The best news I had all day was probably that Sophie had been given detention at the humane society. Up for adoption today, she was placed in a cage with a few other kittens. That didn’t last very long, since she was SO eager to play with the others (she’s never hung out with kitties before), that she was totally the cage bully. They had to put her on her own in the back until she got her own cage.
While to some that may scream “problem kitten!” to me it totally sounds like our Sophie is back to her super-playful self after getting spayed over the weekend. Yay!
To take Sophie home as your very own, you can check her out at the Ottawa Humane Society.

Last month it was all the rage. It was featured at Design Sponge, Craft:zine, IndieFIXX, Apartment Therapy and more. And THIS month, I’m happy to be able to say that I’m one of a charming group of crafters and designers that have been invited to participate in the November “Holiday” themed market over at Poppytalk Handmade. The market starts today and runs until December 5th. Just enough time to get your holiday shopping in (and delivered in the mail). How I love internet shopping!
Even better is that this means that I’ve done a mega-sized shop update. Camera straps, pillows, guitar straps and more are all available online. More of everything is in the works, so things will be rapidly selling out and restocking over the next month. Just in time for the Ladyfest Ottawa Christmas show.
Hallowe’en is barely over, but already it’s time to turn our minds to the holidays. I have wrapping paper (WRAPPING PAPER!) on the floor in my studio. So, so wrong.
Visit the shop to see all of the new goodies!
