Along the same lines as Andrea’s Peeptastic Challenge from last year, the Washington Post ran a feature this week called Peeps Show – a collection of reader-submitted peeps dioramas.

To add to the peep-mania, the kitchn discovers the right way to create DIY marshmallow peeps, and raspberry and eggplant makes a higbrow salted caramel & chocolate version. Yum!

This delicious recipe for butterscotch fingers (I love shortbread!) has made it to my must try list. So have these cinnamon sugar muffins, and these blueberry muffins (which we made last week) were absolutely divine.

Lydia appears to dislike our rather large map of India. Poor girl needs to learn to love to travel!

She’s really turning into a super-cute cat. Full of energy, but likes to snuggle just about as equally, which is a nice treat. I have always found (for whatever reason) that black cats are just not as friendly and snuggly as tabbies. This one has turned the tables on that a little bit.

But I’ve been busy writing papers, working, and sewing my little brains out for a shop update.
