on the road. off the road. it’s been a busy weekend and we’re up PAST our necks in snow.

we have a new neighbour that doesn’t know how to park nicely. it is driving me INSANE. Also, he smokes a pipe! In his apartment. Healthy.

But enough bellyaching. It’s beautiful and snowy outside! I flew Porter on Friday (and loved it). I’m working and trip planning and BURIED in end of term papers (hey – did I tell you I went back to school?). Yeah. Lots going on as usual.

Thing I’m currently hooked on? Custom laser engraved Moleskines. You read that right.

Quitting my job was supposed to increase my “less to do” factor by…oh….a lot. But instead, it seems I am in a state of all-the-time busy these days.

This is a quick snap I managed to grab on my way to and fro today. I like it because it reminds me of those fake people you always see in scale models. Except in scale models you never see sweltering hot creepy tunnels. OR DO YOU?

Some crafty calls to action:

The Ladyfest Spring Show has been announced. May 10th. Jack Purcell. Be there! And if you’re crafty, exhibit there! Submissions are open until March 31st.

If Ladyfest isn’t your thing, don’t fret! There’s also the Westend Artisan Crafters Market – spring edition – at the Nepean Sportsplex on Saturday, May 10.
