we’re on the move! back soon with new house excitement, if we make it through all our boxes before we’re old and grey.

Too busy packing to put any useful thoughts together (eek! we move in three days), but I did want to mention the wiggle-waggle walkathon to all of you local folks!

This is an event that the OHS (where we foster our kitties from) puts on every year, and this year they’re celebrating a 20-year milestone! This year’s event takes place at the arboretum on September 7th:

Walk and raise money for Ottawa’s animals at the 20th Ottawa Humane Society Iams Wiggle Waggle Walkathon on Sunday, September 7th, 2008 at the Central Experimental Farm Arboretum. Register as an individual, family or team; collect pledges; then come out on September 7th (with or without your pet) to enjoy a 2km or 5km PetSmart walk and a variety of fun family activities.

Since it’s not exactly, um, easy, to do a walkathon with a cat (or kittens) in tow, I’m going to be volunteering at a dog watering station instead!
