I need yours. And fast.
From Thursday through Sunday, I’ll be standing outside, iphone in hand, collecting entries to a nightly draw for two NAC-branded ipods, helping to promote our lovely photo contest, and enjoying free live music at Lebreton Flats with my *favourite* Orchestra (and on Saturday, Natalie McMaster) – for free!
This says I will be miserable. Think good thoughts – change the weather! And then come say hi!
busy upgrading our walls around here these days, from “OMG I can’t believe how blue these are, and they are really blue” to something a little more neutral and *ahem* might reflect the smallest fraction of sunlight.
So our choices! Beigey white, whitish white, vintage white and my personal fave – silver (over there on the bottom left). Top it off with some vinyl wall decals, and we’ll be very happy renters.
In other changes, we are a mere one week away from being car free! But more on that later.
in the winter, we’re drawn to heavy, comforting things; oatmeal, cereal, toast with butter, anything with maple syrup.
but in summer, it seems nearly impossible to eat a meal that doesn’t involve grazing somehow. My latest breakfast of champions is just that – grazing. At home or at work, it’s all finger-foods, all the time, like this quick and easy combo of strawberries and art-is-in bread (yum!). Pair it with a cup of hot coffee and I am very very happy.
